What is a scalp treatment or head spa?
A scalp treatment — also called a head spa or hair spa — is a relaxing scalp therapy: your therapist cleanses your scalp and hair with premium shampoo and conditioner, then massages your scalp, neck and shoulders. At Venus Nail Spa, our Japanese head spa also includes a face wash and facial massage; the Pampering package and above add the signature water-ring scalp massage, and the Platinum package adds a nourishing hair mask with micro-steam. Packages start at $58 for 45 minutes.
How long does a head spa take?
Our head spa packages take 45 to 75 minutes, and the Ultimate Relaxation Spa takes about 2 hours. Plan a few extra minutes to slow down and enjoy the calm before and after your treatment.
Is a head spa okay for colored or treated hair?
Usually, yes. Just let your therapist know about any recent coloring, keratin or other treatments, or any scalp sensitivity, so we can adjust the products and pressure for you.

How should I come prepared?
Come as you are and simply relax — no need to wash your hair beforehand. If you wear makeup, we will gently cleanse your face as part of the treatment. We dry and finish your hair with serum before you leave.
